Pharmtrue
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2, 2026
Overview
Pharmtrue uses internal applications and approved service providers to support pharmacy, dispensary, manufacturing, market, finance, and administrative operations.
This policy explains the financial-data language relevant to Pharmtrue's internal finance tools. It does not replace any patient-specific, pharmacy-specific, cannabis-compliance, or employment-related notices that may apply in separate contexts.
Financial Account Connection And Bank Data
Pharmtrue may use Plaid or similar secure financial-data providers to connect authorized Pharmtrue business bank accounts for internal finance operations.
This connection may allow Pharmtrue to access:
- bank account metadata;
- account balance information;
- bank transaction history;
- institution and connection status; and
- other information needed for bank-feed, accounting, and reconciliation workflows.
Purpose Of Use
Pharmtrue uses connected financial account data for internal business purposes, including:
- finance-control reporting;
- bank balance visibility;
- cash-drop and drawer reconciliation;
- QuickBooks/accounting comparison;
- bank transaction review;
- payment, payroll/check, and deposit verification; and
- audit and proof-gap tracking.
Pharmtrue does not use Plaid-derived financial data for patient marketing, customer profiling, or unrelated outreach.
Consent And Authorization
Financial account connections are made only by authorized users with permission to connect the applicable account. Before a financial account is connected, the application or Plaid Link flow provides information about the connection and requests authorization.
If Plaid is ever used for customer-facing account connection, customer-facing consent language will be reviewed and updated before launch.
Data Sharing
Plaid-derived financial data may be shared only as needed with:
- authorized Pharmtrue finance/admin personnel;
- accounting, tax, legal, or audit support;
- approved service providers supporting the finance workflow; and
- government, regulatory, legal, or court processes when required.
Pharmtrue does not sell Plaid-derived financial data.
Retention And Deletion
Pharmtrue retains Plaid-derived financial data only as long as needed for finance operations, accounting, reconciliation, legal obligations, audit needs, security review, or other approved business purposes.
When data is no longer needed, Pharmtrue will delete, de-identify, archive under restricted access, or otherwise dispose of it according to its data retention and disposal practices.
Security
Pharmtrue restricts access to Plaid-derived financial data by role and business need. Sensitive financial data is protected through access controls, encrypted transport, hosting/database security controls, and internal handling rules that prohibit posting credentials, tokens, or raw restricted financial details in public or unauthorized locations.
